Shindig! No.125

Out this week is Shindig! magazine No.125 where you'll find Delaney & Bonnie, Kenney Jones, TONTO and co, and a wealth of other stuff you didn't know you needed. This issue I wrote about Isi Véléris photographing John Cale, Jackie Lomax on Pänggggg, and got my hands on Soul Bank's comprehensive new Brian Auger collection. Go to the shops, pick it up, subscribe, you know what to do.

Shindig! No.123

New year, new you. Perhaps the new you subscribes to Shindig! magazine? Then you wouldn't have to brave the crowds to pick up your copy of issue 123, on the street today. And if you like the sound of Popol Vuh, AIR, Richie Havens, Colin Blunstone, Vanilla Fudge, the results of the 2021 Writers' Poll, and a little bit of me talking about Iván Zulueta in Vinyl Art, you'd be very happy.

Shindig! No.120

This week it's Shindig! No.120 with The Floyd on film, Fania records, and a fine selection of further fantastic stuff. I got two pages for Vinyl Art this month - two! - and I used them wisely.

Shindig! No.119

It sure is nice to be in the Vinyl Art page of Shindig! once more, this month with an unexpected story that span out of a very '70s image. Elsewhere there's Daptone Records, Faust, John Cameron and that's just scratching the surface. Another great issue. Subscribe.

Shindig! No.116

The sun is out. The sun was out. The sky is white. Anyway, what better way to spend the long or short days of whatever month this is than hiding under the duvet with a torch enjoying Shindig!. This month, Acid Jazz; The 5th Dimension; The Easybeats; Paramount Records, and plenty more besides, as I dig into a well-earned box of Zonkers in Vinyl Art.
